Biography
Professor Dexter Irvine is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Psychological Sciences, Monash University and has a part-time appointment as a Professorial Research Fellow at the Bionic Ear Institute. His major interest is in functional organisation and plasticity of the auditory system.
Current research topics include:

andbull;the processing of of input from a cochlear implant in the auditory cortex of profoundly and severely deaf animals
