Biography

David graduated in medicine from Monash in 1975. With extensive experience in industry, government and private practice, David is a Fellow of the Faculties of Occupational Medicine and Public Health and President of the Australian Faculty of Occupational Medicine.

His current interests include assessment of occupational and environmental injuries and conditions, with particular reference to the impacts on impairment, disability and rehabilitation potential. He contributes to the teaching of the occupational and environmental health subjects for undergraduates and post graduates within the Department.

David is also enrolled as a DPH student with a thesis topic examining the effectiveness and economic effectiveness of worksite assessment under the Victorian WorkCover Authority.
