Biography
A/Prof Hills is a Registered Nurse with considerable experience as a clinician, manager and educator in mental health and clinical governance, both in rural and metropolitan community and hospital settings. His primary research interests are in health and aged care services and workforce development, clinical governance, workplace aggression, mental health and well-being, and ageing. A/Prof Hills is also engaged in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural design and ageing projects, especially in relation to healthy ageing and the ageing workforce.

A/Prof Hills is an active member of the Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG), having been a chair or member of AAG Conference Planning and Scientific Committees since 2016. He is also a member of the Australian College of Nursing and the Australian Epidemiological Association.
