Biography

Dr Danielle Oh is a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist and the Clinical Lead for Cellular Therapies at Monash Health. She is also a Research Fellow at the Cancer Therapeutics Laboratory within the Monash Health Translation Precinct and a recipient of the Monash Partners Clinician Fellowship Program. Dr Oh is passionate about delivering cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies to patients with haematological malignancies. As the Clinical Lead for Cellular Therapies, she established the Cellular Therapies Program at Monash Health in 2023, playing a key role in expanding access to stem cell transplantation and innovative treatments such as CAR T cell therapy. She is a Principal Investigator on a range of Cellular Therapies and Multiple Myeloma clinical trials and serves as an Honorary Medical Director at Hudson Institute Cell Therapies.

Dr Oh previously completed Lymphoma and Transplant Fellowship at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, Canada. Her PhD thesis was on dual inhibition of PI3K/BET bromodomain proteins in haematological malignancies, supported by an NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship and a Haematology Society of Australia & NZ (HSANZ) New Investigator Scholarship. Her contributions to haematology research have been recognised with The Albert Baikie Award for the best oral presentation by a new investigator at the HSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting. She remains deeply committed to advancing the field through clinical trials, translational research and service development, ensuring patients have access to the latest innovations in haematology and cellular therapies.
