Biography

Clint Hansen is an Indigenous research fellow at Monash University, he holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering. Aswell as a BEng (H1) in Sustainable Systems Engineering. His current research is guided by his Yiman/Iman heritage and Elders, focusing on protecting the cultural and ecological values of water in Coal Seam Gas (CSG)-affected areas of Central Queensland. By blending traditional Indigenous Knowledge with western scientific methods, Hansen advocates for Indigenous water rights and seeks to promote regenerative futures and justice for communities impacted by resource extraction.
