Biography

Claire is a Lecturer in Public Health and Health Promotion within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM) at Monash University.
She has a particular interest in efficacious and ethical health communications, with her PhD research exploring the unintended impact of anti-obesity public health messaging on risk factors for disordered eating. 
Prior to completing her PhD, Claire coordinated various research projects within the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, where she originally undertook her Honours degree. 
On a personal level, she is passionate about advocating for positive body image and weight destigmatisation.
