Personal profile

Biography

My research explores how creative, critical and participatory approaches to design can inspire and enable socialchange in urban contexts. I am particularly interested in how the participatory design of digital technologiescan build connections between children and nature, and promote environmental stewardship behaviour.

Research interests include:

  • Participatory design and research methods
  • Sustainability, place and environmental stewardship
  • Co-design and use of digital technologies
  • Civic engagement and participation of children and youth
  • Design and data literacy
