Biography
Brett is Professor of Paramedicine and current Director of International Engagement for the School of Primary and Allied Health Care, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University. Brett has been an academic leader in paramedicine educational research, scholarship and mentorship for over 20 years. Brett has won numerous national university teaching awards and has published 350 peer-reviewed publications, over 12,500 citations, presented conference work over 190 times, 20 book chapters and co-edited 3 textbooks. He is committed to professionalising paramedicine, and building capacity for paramedics and allied health personnel internationally. He has supervised 14 PhDs to timely completion and is currently supervising 10 PhD students.
