Boqing Liu is an experimental physicist specialising in 2D materials and nonlinear optics. He received his PhD from the Australian National University (ANU). His research focuses on light–matter interaction in van der Waals systems, combining nanofabrication with advanced optical characterisation to develop functional optoelectronic devices. He is particularly interested in translating fundamental physics into applied technologies.
