Personal profile


Dr. Bohan Zhuang is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University Clayton Campus, Australia. Previously, he was a Senior Research Fellow and finished his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Adelaide, where he was advised by Prof. Ian Reid and Prof. Chunhua Shen. During his undergraduate study, he was fortunately supervised by Prof. Huchuan Lu.

His main research topic is compressing and accelerating deep neural networks for resource constrained edge devices. And he also interests in a wide span of applications in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Apart from academic, he is a music enthusiast and have been playing piano since 4 years old.
