Dr. Bin Wang earned his PhD from the Future of Work Institute at Curtin University. Prior to joining Monash University, he was an Associate Professor in the School of Management at Shanghai University.
His research focuses on work design in the digital workplace and the usage of information and communication technology (ICT). He has attracted competitive research funding worth over AUD 537,200 (CNY 2.5 million), and have published over 30 journals articles, two books, and two book chapters, receiving more than 3,500 citations to date. Most of his publications appear in ABDC A*/A journals, including Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and Human Research Management Journal. He serves an Associate Editor for Human Resource Development Quarterly and on the editorial board of the Entrepreneurship Research Journal.
His research has demonstrated significant impact, earning social media coverage and multiple academic awards, including the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences Research Achievement Award (First prize), Shanghai Policy Research Achievement Award (First prize), Curtin University Chancellor Commendation for Outstanding PhD Thesis, the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad, Wiley Top Cited Article (three times), Wiley Top Downloaded Article, ESI Hot Paper (top 0.1%), and ESI Highly Cited Paper.
