Biography

Bhoomija Ranjan is a Lecturer of Marketing at Monash University. She received her PhD and MS in Business Administration from the University of Rochester in 2017. She also obtained an MA in Economics from the University of Rochester.

Dr. Ranjan's research primarily focuses on understanding how firms and individuals make decisions through quantitative modeling techniques. Examples of this include how consumers pay attention and purchase products in the physical retail setting; how consumers respond to new brand/product entry; how firms and retailers can appropriately price their products.
