Biography
Bei Cui joined ACFS as a research fellow in May 2019. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration with First Class Honours at the University of Macau, a Master of Finance with Distinction from the University of Warwick and a Doctoral of Philosophy in Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
Her primary interest areas include the role of informational intermediaries on capital markets, Chinese and foreign capital market, market microstructure, insider trading and cryptocurrency. Her papers have been presented in many international conferences including Financial Management Association (FMA) Annual Meeting, Multinational Finance Society (MFS) Conference, Financial Research Network (FIRN) Market Microstructure Meeting, and Spanish Finance Association (AEFIN) Annual Meeting. Her research paper has been awarded as Financial Management Association (FMA) Asia/Pacific Conference Best Paper.
Before pursuing her Doctor degree, she has worked as an analyst at International Department of Bank of Communications, China and a financial consultant at Convoy, Hong Kong.
