Barbara Chambers is a lecturer with the Department of Banking and Finance.
My research interests are in the areas of superannuation, empirical corporate finance and empirical asset pricing. I have two sole-authored working papers with a superannuation focus: " Multiemployer Defined Pension Plan Liability Spilovers: Important Connections in U.S. Unionized Industries" and "How does Multiemployer Defined Benefit Plan Membership affect stock return comovement"?. In my early career, I worked in the UK as a management scientist for the Metropolitan Police working on projects including defining user requirements for a computerised Personel System and as a pensions valuation analyst for an Insurance company.
