Biography

Babar Shabbir is a Research Fellow in Jacek Jasieniak's group since March 2020. Before joining Jacek, he was a postdoc fellow in Qiaoliang Bao’s group (June 2017- Feb 2020). In 2016, Babar graduated from the University of Wollongong, Australia with a PhD in Engineering. His research area is two-dimensional materials with a focus on various applications such as polaritons, photo & X-ray detectors, and magnetism.
