Biography

Azimeh Jafari Sadr obtained her PhD in Child Development Psychology from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and currently holds a faculty position in the Psychology Department at Monash University Malaysia. Her research primarily focuses on mother-child interactions and emergent literacy during early childhood, while also examining related domains such as child psychology, parenting, and parent-child relationships. Dr. Jafari Sadr is dedicated to empowering parents to strengthen their connections with their children.

With over a decade of experience in child and adolescent psychology, Azimeh has made significant contributions. She has served on the evaluation committee for psychologists at the Iran Welfare Organization and has conducted workshops for psychologists, counselors, and other mental health professionals affiliated with the Ministry of Education and the Psychology and Counselling Organization. Additionally, she has taught undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses in Iran and has supervised numerous master's theses, leveraging her expertise in mixed-method research.

Dr. Azimeh has a particular interest in autism, especially regarding how individuals with autism can influence family dynamics and create employment opportunities for themselves. Furthermore, she is actively engaged in climate change and sustainability initiatives, recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives in addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainable practices.
