Biography
Ashna holds a PhD and a Master of Philosophy in Accounting specialising in auditing research and is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ).
Ashna’s research interest span the audit areas of audit regulation and enforcement, cross-border group audits, consistency of audit quality across global audit firm networks, the economics of audit markets, and audit education.
Ashna has published in several reputed academic journals, including AUDITING: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, International Journal of Auditing, Accounting Education, Accounting & Finance, and Pacific Basin Finance Journal.
Ashna teaches masters (ACF5957), undergraduate (ACC/ACF3600) and honours (ACX4050) Auditing and Assurance units.
