Biography

Dr Aroub Lahham is a physiotherapist research fellow within the Respiratory Care Group of the Department of Allergy, Immunology and Respiratory Medicine. Currently, Aroub is the trial co-ordinator of the NHMRC-funded multi-centre trial, Early HomeBase which aims to test the effect of Home-based Pulmonary Rehabilitation for people after hospital admissions due to exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Dr Lahham is interested in optimising targeted rehabilitation and physical activity for people with chronic lung disease through designing novel models and consumer-engagement. She is the deputy chair of the Australian and New Zeland Thoracic Society Physiotherapy Special Interest Group.
