Biography
Anuja Dharmaratne is an Associate Professor attached to the School of Information Technology at Monash University Malaysia. She graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1995 with a First Class Honours in Computer Science. She had her postgraduate education at the Hiroshima University, Japan and obtained her M.Eng and Doctoral degrees from the Graduate School of Engineering in 2000 and 2004 respectively. Her main research interests are in Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Game based education, Educational Technology, Digital Health and ICT for Society.
Prior to joining Monash University Malaysia, she has worked at the University of Colombo from 1996-2013 as a Senior Lecturer of the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC).
