Biography

Anne is a Research Fellow at the School of Mathematics. Before joining Monash University, she obtained her PhD in Mathematics at the University of Nottingham, UK. Prior to this, she completed her (dual) master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Medical Engineering, both at the Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands.

Research interests

Her research interest lies in the area of computational mechanics and the numerical approximation of partial differential equations. She is particularly interested in problems that involve moving interfaces or coupled dynamics. She currently works on the design and analysis of unfitted finite element methods that preserve the problem’s structure, e.g. divergence-preserving methods. She aims to employ these numerical techniques in multiphysics models for cardio electromechanics.
