Ms Anna Fragkoudi is a research assistant in the Department of General Practice at Monash University. Anna has a midwifery background and four years of clinical experience in tertiary health institutions in Greece and has obtained a Master of Applied Science from La Trobe University. As an early career researcher Anna’s primary research interest lies in women’s health, wellbeing, quality of life and decision making. This includes a focus on women living with chronic diseases and understanding the impact that this has on pregnancy and labour outcomes. Her current focus of her research is promoting better access to health and social support services for vulnerable populations.

  2. Decision making – particularly for vulnerable populations, underserved people

  1. Maternal aspects of pregnancy in autoimmune diseases
  2. Autoimmune diseases and family planning
  3. Effects of pregnancy on disease outcomes in neurological conditions
  4. Women’s psychology during the perinatal period
