Biography
Dr Nguyen completed her PhD in 2017 (co-supervised by Prof Arthur Christopoulos and Dr Lauren May, Monash University). Her research focuses on understanding the drug-receptor interactions at the adenosine receptors, with the goal of facilitating the discovery of novel therapeutic strategies (allosteric and biased compounds) for the treatment of cardiovascular and neuronal diseases. She employs a combination of molecular pharmacology, molecular modelling (docking, molecular dynamics simulation, virtual ligand screening), high-throughput screening, and artificial intelligence approaches to build a drug discovery pipeline for adenosine receptors.
