Biography

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Neuroscience, Monash University. My research, to date, has focused on using human stem cells to develop in vitro disease models, in particular stroke. I have develop a niche area of expertise in systematic review of human and animal studies of neurological disease and in vitro research, for method development in the area of evidence integration and translation. Building on this research experience across fields of stem cell biology, neuroscience and bioinformatics, my career objectives are to utilize multidisciplinary approaches to determine causative mechanisms underlying epilepsy.
