The ways and reasons that people travel depend largely on who they are: young adults, new parents, people of different ethnic backgrounds ... we all have different needs and constraints. I have several ongoing research projects exploring different aspects of travel behaviour for different groups in Australia's diverse population. But there is so much more we have to learn. If you've ever asked yourself 'why do people choose to drive / cycle / buy a car / use public transport?', come speak to me about your questions and we'll see if we can find some answers.
