Publishing Highlights
- Prostate-specific membrane antigen PET-CT in patients with high-risk prostate cancer before curative-intent surgery or radiotherapy (proPSMA): a prospective, randomised, multicentre study. The Lancet, Volume 395, Issue 10231, 11–17 April 2020, Pages 1208-1216
Impact: Concluded that novel imaging using prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET-CT improves accuracy and management of high-risk localised prostate cancer.
- Optimising area under the ROC curve using gradient descent. ICML '04: Proceedings of the twenty-first international conference on Machine learning
Impact: Introduced a linear binary classifier which optimises the area under the ROC curve adopting the AUC statistic as its objective function.
- Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy versus standard radiotherapy in stage 1 non-small-cell lung cancer (TROG 09.02 CHISEL): a phase 3, open-label, randomised controlled trial. The Lancet Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 4, April 2019, Pages 494-503
Impact: Concluded that in patients with inoperable peripherally located stage 1 NSCLC, compared with standard radiotherapy, SABR (Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy) resulted in superior local control of the primary disease without an increase in major toxicity.
