Biography
Dr Ahmed Abdalla is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Monash University, Australia. He has been a research scholar at Columbia University and a visiting scholar at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Monash, he has been a faculty fellow at the London School of Economics (2014-2017).
Ahmed received a PhD in Accounting and Finance from King’s College London in 2016 and completed part of his doctoral training at the University of Cambridge.
Ahmed’s main research interests are the macroeconomic consequences of firm-level accounting information and the valuation of equity.
