The Gospel of Families

Press/Media: Expert Comment

Description

The article offers a critique of the Church's 'Gospel of the Family’, as faling short of inclusiveness as it is still premised on the binary of natural/’irregular’ unions and families. In revisiting the exclusivity of the Gospel of the Family, three points are reflected on: ‘’forms of feminism hostile to the church’, ‘relativist pluralism in the conception of marriage’ and ‘new interpretations of what is considered a human right’.
