Article in The Age reporting on launch of AiLECS lab's My Pictures Matter crowdsourcing campaign and citing research into countering child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including: use of 'benign' images of children to teach machine learning to differentiate non-CSAM content; and creating a research dataset with meaningful consent for use of images of children. (The My Pictures Matter campaign provides a simple way for people over the age of 18 to add their childhood photos to a research dataset to help fight child exploitation).
