    Description

UNESCO joins Thailand’s Creative Economy Agency and Ministry of Culture to celebrate the International Year of Creative Economy with a series of events taking place every weekend in August 2021. Within the celebration framework, UNESCO will directly organize two events: launch of UNESCO Bangkok recent report “Backstage: Managing Creativity and the Arts in Southeast Asia” and launch of “Re-imagining Creative Cities in Twenty-First Century Asia”.

The celebration is a part of UNESCO’s ongoing collaboration with government institutions and civil society in Thailand to support the strengthening of Thailand’s creative sector, implemented thanks to the support of the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Culture.
