Long term parking for aeroplanes booming in the Australian desert

Four Airbus A380s owned by Singapore Airlines touched down in Alice Springs yesterday, sent therefore long-term storage. It comes as Central Australia's dry hot conditions are ideal for storage than the hot and sticky weather of Southeast Asia. Airbus announced in February last year that it would stop production of the A380 by 2021 after Emirates cancelled an order for 39 new Jumbos.
