DescriptionInterview with Zane Andrews, Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Monash University.
Stevenson and Burns talk about weight-loss and how Melbourne scientists discovered a
switch that tells the body to burn fat or store fat. Andrews explains that the body has a way
of protecting its fat reserve. Andrews adds that during their experiment, they found that
brain cells activate and tell a person to eat but also conserve as much energy as possible.
Andrews mentions that during their experiment with mice, they were able to remove an
enzyme in the brain cell and they immediately don't know what to do. Stevenson notes
that the enzyme that burns fat is calls 'crat.' Andrews and Stevenson discuss how crat is
taken out of a human being. Andrews admits that he doesn't know how to remove crat
from a person. Andrews says their research and testing on humans is still in its planning
    stage.
