Improving evidence use in teaching is about time.

The recent agreement to provide 2,000 extra teachers in Victoria will go some way to ameliorating the challenges associated with educators' excessive workloads. But are these kinds of changes enough? If we expect teachers to be evidence informed, they must have the time to engage in research, alongside the many other social, psychological and educational challenges they face on a daily basis.  It’s all about time.
