How a Boon Wurrung tree inspired teachers and students to connect with Indigenous knowledge

When Boon Wurrung elders shared an ancient, culturally marked tree with Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA) as part of an exhibition about trees, it formed the centrepiece for a new approach to education. This article explores how we learnt to learn with a Boon Wurrung tree, Indigenous Knowledge and Art-Reach experiences where pre-service teachers and children came together to learn with the tree and through a forest of ideas.
