DescriptionSEAL schools have expanded in govt high schools in Victoria for highly able students. These are accelerated learning programs for Y7-10 students who have been assessed as gifted. These programs need to be accredited to exist. There are many schools with designated programs for gifted students in NSW while Victoria has only 4 selective high schools. The research strongly supports high ability grouping for gifted students.
