Description

Studies on the moderating effect of leadership on the relationship between innovative behavior and creative self-efficacy are scarce. The authors have found linear relationships between them (Anderson et al., 2014; Antonakis et al., 2003; Bagheri & Akbari, 2017). This leads to heterogeneous results due to the statistical technique used, the type of sample and the incorporation of new variables to those proposed in the research. In contrast, the present study suggests that the relationship between innovative behavior, creative self-efficacy, and leadership is not linear (Newman et al., 2018). The model used will have a predictive nature based on the modeling of structural equations.
