How jet lag messes with our circadian rhythms. 

Researcher Tracey Sletten explains how our circadian rhythms are like an orchestra. When we experience jet lag though, it’s as if the conductor has left the building and everyone’s out of tune. This desynchrony of our internal rhythms can have some pretty serious consequences, if we experience it regularly.
