ABC interview - Rare cancer linked to breast implants on the rise, researchers say

The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons says that there are now 55 women in Australia diagnosed with a rare cancer of the immune system which has been linked to certain types of breast implants.

Researchers say this number is expected to rise, and are urging surgeons and patients to join up to the Australian Breast Device Registry so that the cancer can be better understood and prevented in future.
