    Description
November 20th marks the 30-year anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The Convention plays an important role in defining the rights of
children. However, worldwide progress in implementing and upholding the rights of children has been uneven, resulting in the violation of the rights of many children. The Australian
Government ratified the Children’s Convention in 1990. Despite this, Australia still does not have a national strategy or measures to guarantee the enforcement or protection of children’s
    rights.
