Description
On 23 August 2025, Monash University Malaysia, in collaboration with Universiti Malaya and the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ), launched the RiverWatch: Unveiling Water Health & Tackling Trash at Sg. Kayu Ara community-research initiative at Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya. Led by Dr Faddrine Jang with co-Project Leader Dr Michelle Yap, the initiative aims to promote river conservation and sustainable living through community engagement. The launch featured a Zero Waste Campaign, including biocomposting workshops and a zero-waste market, empowering local residents to adopt sustainable waste management practices and become active stewards of urban waterways.| Period | 23 Aug 2025 |
