The Triple 'A' Strategy for Learning and Teaching

Description

In this seminar, I shared key strategies for teaching and learning
methods coined as the ‘AAA’ (Triple A) Strategy which stands for (1)
Active learning (2) Authentic assessments (3) Academic rigour. These
strategies are grounded upon Self Determination Theory and
Community Knowledge Triangle Model that advocate for student
flourishing and value co-creation involving industry stakeholders. This
Triple A Strategy was discussed in the context of Introduction of
Management unit, a core unit for the Business and Commerce students
that serves almost 300 students per semester and Leadership in Asia, a
second-year home-grown unit which Esther has recently redesigned the
course syllabus and assessments.
