The journal, established in 2000 by Charles Schlacks Jr (USA), has been a Brill journal since 2015. It is a refereed, international and interdisciplinary journal, promoting deconstructive readings of the works of F M Dostoevsky in conjunction with other texts of the European literary and philosophical canon. The Editorial Board welcomes contributions on topics, which explore Dostoevsky’s poetics in a theoretical context (poststructuralism, phenomenology, semiotics, and narratology), and with respect to its impact on the Western and other cultural paradigms.
