Description

As part of this visit, a meeting was held with the consortium research partners of Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies (LABUST) Department of Control and Computer Engineering Faculty of Electrical Electrical Engineering and Computing University of Zagreb and the University of Auckland Biomimetics Laboratory to discuss ongoing and future collaboration between the partners, and future research opportunities for Monash University expert contribution and engagement. A/Prof Pell toured the laboratory facilities, met the various research teams, learned about current projects, and provided valuable insight into potential avenues for strengthening cooperative efforts in future Horizon projects. Together the parties attended the Breaking the Surface BtS'23 event in Kambor, Montenegro, where teams demonstrated systems technology readiness and conducted a systems integration experiment as a proof of concept for future cooperative research potentials.
