    Description

Startup Foundry is a structural programme that aims to help students (year 2 & above, any School) to maneuver through the constant challenge of getting people to understand the value of their product or services, and to avoid the early pitfalls of a company. The Startup Foundry is also a game changing Entrepreneurship course, as there will be no academic lecturer, but a line-up of Industry Speakers who have successfully built firms themselves, and who are able to share their stories and failures to the students, allowing the students the opportunity of learning by actually doing it. Another aspect of this programme is that we would like experienced individuals such like yourself to guide and mentor the students in terms of idea building, critical thinking, and providing valuable feedback with your expertise. Finally, the startups that will come out of the Startup Foundry will also be granted a chance to participate in the iLabs LaunchX Programme that prepare the student startups to scale. This programme is a 4 credit hours elective course that consists of 10 building blocks of hands-on venture building, including the Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship (BMoE) from UC Berkeley.
