organised and coordinated a short course entitled ‘Chronic Disease Prevention and Cure which was the first short course conducted at JCSMHS in Monash University Malaysia. External contributors such as Professor Richard Southby from The George Washington University and contributions from MUA colleagues such as Professor Brian Oldenburg (who was the ASCEND program Director) and Professor Maximilian de Courten from the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and external contributors from the Director of Heart Foundation of Malaysia, Datuk Dr Khoo Kah Lin (a renowned Cardiologist) were invited to be the invited speakers.
