Description
Presentation to NRSPP members to introduce the concept of mindfulness and highlight its potential benefits for enhancing workplace productivity and improving workplace road safety. The program aims to apply mindfulness principles to address key road safety behaviours, such as the mindful decision not to engage with technology while driving. This presentation contributed to national dialogue on integrating mental health and behavioural safety strategies in workplace road safety programs. It positioned mindfulness as an evidence-informed approach with practical applications to improve driver attention, reduce distraction, and enhance well-being among road users and workers.
