Description
Dr Pontso Moorosi is an associate professor of educational leadership at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, where she is programme leader for and teaches on the MA Educational Leadership and Management. She is interested in the field of educational leadership more broadly; her research interests are primarily on gender and educational leadership. She has published extensively in this area, including a recently co-edited Bloomsbury Handbook on Gender and Educational Leadership and Management. She co-convenes the Research Interest Group on Gender and Educational Leadership in the British Educational Leadership Management & Administration Society (BELMAS). More recently, her work is informed by the postcolonial lens, and she reflects on her own identity as a Black African female and how this has impacted on her form of leadership identity development and scholarship in a western context. Dr Moorosi’s visit is supported by projects funded by the Monash Warwick Alliance.Period | Oct 2023 → Nov 2023 |
