Presented to the International Future Agenda for Child Occupant Protection Committee, comprising biomechanists, CRS manufacturers, engineers, epidemiologists, human factor scientists, paediatricians, safety researchers, and vehicle manufacturers. This presentation explored emerging challenges in behavioural science—such as distraction, cognitive load, and compliance—in the context of child occupant safety, and proposed future directions for multidisciplinary research collaborations. (~18 committee members)
