Description

The Workshop introduced the MUARC-TAC ECIS program and brought together representatives from the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Victoria Police, VicRoads, the City of Greater Bendigo, Mount Alexander Shire Council, Macedon Ranges Shire Council, Campaspe Shire Council, Loddon Shire Council, the Country Fire Authority (CFA), and Boyd Consulting. The Workshop was also attended by a representative from the Swedish Transport Administration and two personnel from the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. In total, there were 30 attendees.

Workshop discussions focused on six serious injury crashes. The objective was to examine ways to reduce the incidence of similar crashes and eliminate serious injury, particularly in Regional and Rural Victoria.

This Workshop was the sixth in a series of seven held in Regional and Rural Victoria.
