Description

Molecularly imprinted polymers

Abstract: 594298 Disclosed is a molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) imprinted with (E)-5-[(4-hydroxy-phenylimino)-methyl]-benzene-1,3-diol or 3,5-dihydroxy-N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)benzamide, wherein said MIP comprises a polymerised monomer. Also disclosed is a method of extracting resveratrol from a sample, said method comprising exposing the sample to a MIP imprinted with (E)-5-[(4-hydroxy-phenylimino)-methyl]-benzene-1,3-diol or 3,5-dihydroxy-N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)benzamide.
