Description
Market Fair is an informal and creative role-playing approach to peer assessment and feedback. This method has been developed by Xavier Ho and deployed in Design studios since S1, 2024.
Research has shown that students’ belonging is a strong predictor to academic achievement. (Ullman et al. 2023). Market Fair aims “to open up spaces to feel, think, question, embody and share” their work as learners in an affirming environment (Agenda 2015).
This approach can either be used as mid-semester or final milestone, for both individual and group assessments.
